The context

This study examined the resilience of laser safety goggles in an industrial environment involving high-power lasers.

The solution

Funded by Defense Research and Development Canada, with the results subsequently disseminated internationally, the design, measurement campaign, and analysis were conducted by Novika’s applied physics team. Several complex phenomena were analyzed, including the resilience of laser filters under conditions exceeding their industrial certification, their thermographic behavior, and the high-speed phenomenology of dye saturation.
